Valentines Day @ The Basement

When the opportunity of playing at the Basement for Valentines presented we thought about it. We keep saying no more shows till this album is done, but then, we do love the Basement, and we have ended up spending the last couple of V-Day evenings dining in restaurants we really can’t afford! So yes, we said.. lets ditch the restaurant and have a fun night onstage (still want my champagne though thanks).

Songsalive! presents: All you need is love @ The Basement, Sydney  Valentine’s Day (Monday Feb 14, yes some need clarification) 8-11pm

It’s got all the elements- loving tunes & good food by candlelight. Original love (and heartbreak) material presented by the Nick Latta duo, Alex Gibson, Tense Formations, Russell Neal and ourselves, Under the Purple Tree.

Oh and we will have a band…it was nearly just the duo 2 weeks out..  but then we thought oh, we do love a band! Made some calls.. the bassist Anthony Lee…check…and drummmer? Our previous man Matt Field is abroad, so, a word to our mate Jim and he is highly recommending a talented young man by the name of Stephen Barrett…shoot score. Good find indeed! What an injection these men are to our sound - cannot wait!
